All you need is – honey, freshly squeezed lemon juice, ginger, apple cider vinegar, cayenne pepper.
Wash And Grind Ginger
Collect all the necessary items and wash ginger and let it dry you can dry it in natural light and make it loose nearly its complete moisture content. Now you can grind ginger and it will become a powder form.
Mix The Ingredients
Take a mixing bowl pour a cup of honey 1 with 1 cup of lemon juice, half tablespoon ginger, half table spoon of apple cider vinegar and cayenne pepper each.
Make Homogenous Solution
Mix all the things with the help of hand blender and let everything mix properly since ginger and peeper are in powder form they will dissolve but mix it until it becomes a homogenous kind of solution.
Take everything in a jar and pack it and store it in a refrigerator and you can keep it for more than week. Don’t forget to shake it well before consuming also note that don’t give to children below 1 year of age because they cannot consume honey and for children above that age just give them half spoon of it when in need and adults can consume up to a full spoon twice per day.
Making this decongestant more effective is possible now. You need nothing but to add some extra things; by addition of few more ingredients to the above mentioned recipe of decongestant, you can come up with this extra effective decongestant.
Extra things you need – 5 radishes, 1 red onion, 5 garlic cloves.
Make Paste Of Ingredients
Peel radishes and red onion and cut it into small pieces and put them in mixing jar with garlic cloves grind them until they become a smooth paste.
Addition Of Lemon, Pepper And Honey
After that add lemon juice, cayenne pepper and honey to it and blend the paste again.
Store The Decongestant
Keep the mixture in an air tight jar and consume as per the above told ways. Always remember to shake the mixture well before use. By storing in refrigerator, this mixture can be used for about 5 to 7 days.
You can also try ginger and honey alone. All you have to do is just make the ginger dry and then grind it until it becomes powder and again dry it then take nearly one fourth table spoon of it with honey or the best way is to grind it with a little amount of sugar and take it with tea. This method is only useful in winters as the ginger powder is not meant to be use in summers in this amount it can cause harm instead of curing but, there are many other all season working ways too just try the above two for everyday use.
