In summer season we all love to eat some light foods. As spicy and fried food does not digest due to hot atmosphere which can create problems like indigestion, acidity etc. Fruit salads are delicious and healthy foods which can you try this summer. In the summer due to heavy sweating the water and ph balance of our body gets low. Fruit helps you to retain the water and ph balance of your body. Fruits actually contain lots of electrolytes in it and that’s why it is the best food item to eat in the summer season.
In this topic we would like to share 3 delicious and yummy fruit salads which are very easy to prepare. Moreover they do not contain any complicated recipe. So, try them this summer and enjoy the best. The first one is Mango Honey Salsa. We can found lots of mango in market as it is the season for mango. We have used other juicy fruits available in the summer.
Mango Honey Salsa:
Mango 3 (large), Grapes 1 cup, Lemon juice 2 table spoon, Chili flakes 1 tea spoon, Mustard powder 1 tea spoon, Salt to taste.
First wash the mangoes well with water. Now peel the skin with any peeler. Cut the mango in to small dice shape and remove the seed. Put the mango pieces in a bowl. Now take another small bowl to prepare the salad dressing. Pour 2 table spoons of honey and lemon juice in it. Add chili flakes, mustard powder and salt to taste. Mix all the ingredients with the help of a spoon. Now wash the grapes with water and cut them in to halves with a sharp knife.
Pour it in the bowl where you have kept the mango pieces previously. Now pour the salad dressing made with honey. Toss the whole thing so that all the fruits get mixed with the salad dressing. Now take a decorative salad dish and pour the salad on it. Your Mango Honey Salsa is ready to serve. The second one is Mixed Fruit Salad which is easy to prepare and contains lots of juicy ripe fruits which provides you benefit in summer.
Mixed Fruit Salad:
Papaya 1 cup (chopped), Banana 1 (large), Strawberry 10 (medium sized), Green apple 50 gm (chopped), Dates ½ cup (chopped), Black Grapes 50 gm, Fresh cream 100 ml, Castor sugar 75 gm, Basil leaves 2 table spoon (Chopped), Strawberry jam 1 table spoon, Black Pepper powder ½ tea spoon.
Firstly clean all the fruits with water properly and wipe it with a paper napkin. Take a large bowl and put
chopped papaya, dates and green apple in to it. Remember one thing when you are chopping fruits for the salad that the chopped fruits must be uniform in shape. Now remove the peel of the banana and cut it in to thin slices. Pour the slices in that bowl. Now take the strawberries, remove the green portion and cut it in to slices. Also put it in to the large bowl and also add the black grapes in the bowl. Take another small bowl and pour fresh cream in it.
Keep about 2 table spoon of fresh cream for garnishing. Mix chili flakes, castor sugar and chopped basil leaves in to it. Mix it well to prepare the dressing. Now pour the dressing over the chopped fruits and toss them to mix it. Now take another salad bowl and pour the salad on it. Spread the fresh cream over it and sprinkle the black pepper powder on the top. Now pour the strawberry jam on the top to garnish. Store it in your refrigerator. Serve your Mixed Fruit Salad chilled and enjoy in summer. The last one is Melon Magic where the main ingredient is water melon. Water is full with electrolyte compounds which are most suitable for summer.
Water Melon 400 gm, Strawberry 100 gm, Cucumber 1 (large), Tomato 1 (ripe), Mayonnaise ½ cup, Oregano ½ tea spoon, Black pepper powder to taste, Sugar 2 tea spoon (powdered), salt to taste, Mint leaves 5-6 (for garnishing).
First peel the skin of the water melon and chop it in to dice shape. Take the strawberries and cut it in to small slices. Cut the tomato in to slices. Peel the cucumber and make thin slices out of it. Put all the chopped fruits in a large bowl. Now add mayonnaise in it and powdered sugar in to it. Add black pepper powder, Oregano leaves and salt to taste. Toss the whole thing to mix the fruits with the salad dressing. Pour it in a salad bowl and garnish it with mint leaves on top. If you wish you can serve it chilled after keeping it in your refrigerator for 5-6 hours.
