Do you love to have snacks? Of course yes. Every body loves to have snacks mainly in the after noon. But always we consume snacks which are fried and contain lots of spices in it. These oily snacks contain lots of calories in it and they are most unhealthy for us. What about the idea to make some oil free snacks? The idea sounds nice isn’t it?
Actually the oil free snacks contain less oil than usual or can make with no oil. Oil free snacks recipes are great for our health and they does not contain so much of calories. It keeps us free from the problem of obesity, acidity, over weight, cholesterol etc. The first one is backed bread roll which is very easy to prepare and it needs actually simple ingredients. The roll is very tasty and they are favorite of the kids of your family. As it is baked thus it is so much healthy for us.
Baked Bread Roll:
Sliced bread 8, Chopped vegetable 1 medium bowl (Carrots, cabbage, beans, peas), Cumin powder 1 tea spoon, Green chili 2 (Chopped), Chopped onion 2 tea spoon, Chopped garlic 1 tea spoon, Ginger paste 1 tea spoon, Tomato puree 2 tea spoon, Chopped coriander leaves ¼ cup, Sugar 1tea spoon, Salt to taste, Refined oil 2 table spoon.
First Pressure cooks the vegetable until it goes soft. Then take a nonstick pan and take 1 table spoon of oil in it. Boil it. Add chopped onion and chopped garlic in it. Sauté it for a little. Then add 1 tea spoon of ginger paste in it. Add cumin powder and sugar in it. Add tomato puree and cook it for 5-6 minutes. Now add the boiled vegetables in it. Add salt to taste. Also add chopped coriander leaves in it. Cook it until the juicy portion gets removed.
Now take a sharp knife and remove the crust from the bread. Now pour the stuffing in bread slices and make a roll by folding both the open sides. You can apply a little water on the sides to seal the roll. Prepare all the rolls like wise. Now brush the rolls with little oil and bake it in to micro oven for near about 5-7 minutes. The second recipe is Grilled Chicken. It is very delicious and healthy dish for you. It only needs simple ingredients which taste best. This recipe takes a minimum time for preparation.
Chicken 2 pieces, Curd 2 table spoon, Barbecue sauce 1 tea spoon, black pepper powder to taste, red chili powder ½ tea spoon, Ginger paste 1 tea spoon, Garlic paste 1 tea spoon, Bay leaves 2, Clove 2-3, Rosemary a little, Chopped coriander 2 tea spoon, salt to taste.
First clean the chicken pieces with water and keep it aside to strain the water from it. Now take the sour curd in a bowl and beat it. Add the chicken pieces in it and mix them well. Also add barbecue sauce, black pepper powder, red chili powder, ginger paste, garlic paste, Rosemary and bay leaves in it. Add salt to taste and mix all the ingredients to marinate the chicken. Keep the whole thing aside for 15-20 minutes.
Now grill the chicken in 250 degree Celsius for 10 minutes. Brush the chicken with butter while grilling the chicken. It increases the taste. When one side is done turn the other side and grill the side for 10 minutes. Also brush butter in this side. When both sides are grilled serve it in a plate. Sprinkle black pepper powder and chopped coriander leaves from top. Serve hot grilled chicken with fresh green salad. The third one is mushroom momo which is actually a steamed dish. Momo is another all time favorite snacks and has a great taste.
Mushroom 1 cup, Chopped garlic 1 tea spoon, soya sauce 1 tea spoon, chopped coriander leaves 2 table spoons, green chili 2, black pepper powder a little, lemon juice a little, salt to taste, Ajinamoto a little.
First soak the mushrooms in warm water for 1 hour and strain the water. Now boil it in water with adding salt in water. Now pour the boiled mushroom, chopped garlic, chopped ginger, chopped coriander leaves, green chili, ajinamoto and black pepper powder in your grinder and make a smooth paste out of all these ingredients.
Pour the paste in a bowl and add lemon juice in it. Mix it in a well manner. Now make small balls out of the previously prepared dough. Roll them in thin tiny circular shape. Pour one spoon of the paste and make momos with them. Make all the momos and them put them in a steamer and cook for 15-20 minutes. Your Mushroom Momo is ready to serve.
