Home Made Mixed Fruit Custard:
Mixed fruit custard is one of the healthiest recipes for your family. It contains lots of fruits and milk. Take some sweet and juicy fruits like mango, strawberry, banana, pineapple, orange etc about 350 gm of quantity all together. Slice the fruits in to small equal sized pieces and keep aside. Now boil about 2 cups of full fat milk and reduce it about to half of its quantity. Add powdered sugar, vanilla essence in it. Now add custard powder in it and stir it. Immediately remove it from flame and set it aside to cool. Now mix the fruit slices in the custard. Keep it in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours to make it chilled. Your Home Made Mixed Fruit Custard is now ready to serve.
Oats are full with fiber and it is so healthy food item for our body. Oats is also rich in carbohydrate which supplies energy to us. It is mainly used as a great choice for breakfast. But it can be taken other time also. To make first boil 500 ml of milk in a thick bottomed pan in medium heat. Add sugar and boil until it reduces. Now add 150 gm of oats in it and cook until the oats get soft. It takes a little time to cook. Add chopped cashews in it and stir. Remove from flame and serve. Try it in your breakfast. This dish is great for the children of your family.
Tomato Soup is other healthy dish which can be easily done in your kitchen. Tomato is full with lycopin and anti oxidants, both of which are very much healthy for our family. Take 350 gm of raw tomato, then slice them and remove the seeds. Now allow them to boil in 2 cups of water and cook them until they goes soft. Now make pulp out of them and strain the pulp. Again boil the pulp with adding salt to taste. Add black pepper powder and cook until it goes thick. Cook it in a medium heat. Add 3 table spoons of fresh cream in it and remove from flame. Serve it hot.
Mixed Fruit Salad:
This recipe is very much suitable for eating in summer. Actually this healthy preparation keeps us well as it replenishes the lost energy in summer. We have used honey in salad dressing which supplies lots of energy to you and also good for weight loss. First take some fruits which are easily available in summer. Try to take some juicy fruits as they are most suitable for summer. Now chop this fruits and put them in a bowl. Now add 3 table spoons of honey with 3 cups of chopped fruits. Add 2 tea spoons of lemon juice and add salt to taste. Sprinkle some black pepper powder in it. Now toss it to mix all the ingredients in summer. Mixed fruit salad is ready to serve.
Try this healthy dish as a snack in afternoon. Make the batter with rice flour and refined flour. Use milk to dilute it. Add a little salt to taste in the batter. Take one bowl of chopped vegetables like carrots, cabbage, peas, potato, broccoli and tomato. Make a stuffing with all these vegetables. First fry chopped onion and garlic in a pan. Add ginger paste and then add the veggies. Add salt to taste and a little water to it. Cook it on medium heat. Add chopped green chili and chopped coriander. When it is done remove it from flame. Allow it to cool. Now make pancakes with the batter as usual by frying them in refined oil or butter. Now stuff your pancake with the vegetable stuffing and wrap it up. Vegetable pancake is ready to serve.
Brown Fried Rice:
Try this unique healthy dish as we are going to prepare with brown rice instead of ordinary rice. Take 2 cups of brown rice and boil it until it goes soft. Take 1 cup of chopped veggies like carrots, cabbage, beans, peas etc and cook them in medium heat until they goes soft. Add chopped onion and garlic. Add salt and pepper to taste. If you wish you can add egg in it. Now add the boiled brown rice in it and mix the whole thing well. Add chopped green chili and cook for 1 minute more. Your Brown Fried Rice is ready to serve. Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves on top.
