List Of Steps To Make Delicious Chocolate Nutella Banana Muffins At Home
Ingredients you will require for making this tantalizing treat are, 2 cups of flour, 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil, 1/4th cup of sugar, 2 tablespoons of Nutella, 1 cup of old fashioned oats, 2 ripe bananas, 2 teaspoons of baking soda, 1 tablespoon of fresh orange juice, 2 tablespoons of dark chocolate chips, 1/2 cup of dark brown sugar, 1 cup half and half or whipping cream, 1/4th cup of granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt. Make sure you keep all these ingredients handy and prepared, so that you can prepare the muffins uninterrupted.
Now that your are ready with the ingredients, set your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit, so that your oven reaches the perfect temperature by the time you are ready with the muffin batter.
Grease Muffin Tray
The next step would be to grease your muffin tray properly, so that they don’t stick to the pan while baking.
Mix Dry Ingredients
Mix all the dry ingredients, like the flour, baking soda, kosher salt, oats, brown sugar and granulated sugar together.
Mix Wet Ingredients
In a separate bowl, mash the bananas nicely with a fork, so that it becomes completely lump free. To that, mix the other wet Ingredients, like the vanilla extract, orange juice, vegetable oil and whipping cream. Stir the ingredients nicely with a whisk to mix them thoroughly, so that you get a lump-free mixture.
Mix Dry With Wet Ingredients
Once you are ready with the wet and dry ingredients, make a well in the bowl of dry ingredients and pour 1/3rd of the wet mixture into the well. Mix well, until the wet mixture is completely dissolved into dry mixture. Once that happens, mix the remaining wet mixture in two batches, so to avoid lump formation in the batter. Once you get a smooth and well-mixed batter, take the grease muffin tray and fill the muffin cups with the batter. Make sure that you don’t fill the muffin cups right upto the top, as the muffins will expand upon baking. Fill the cups only halfway upto the top as you will also need to add the melted chocolate and the Nutella.
Melt Chocolate Chips
Now take the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and transfer that into your microwave. Set the temperature on low and continue microwaving until the chocolate chips melt completely. Give a little stir to the mixture if needed. Once done, remove the bowl immediately from the microwave and then take the Nutella.
Nutella And Chocolate Swirl
Now take 1 teaspoon each of Nutella and melted chocolate and add those to the muffin batter in the muffin cups. Swirl the three things together with the help of a toothpick. However, make sure that you don’t swirl it too much or else you won’t get the swirl effect.
Finally, pop the muffin tray into the preheated oven and allow the muffins to bake for 20-22 minutes or until they pass the toothpick test. Serve them after cooling or store to serve later.
