Things You Will Need For Rose Water
Fresh rose petals – 2 cups
Water – 4 cups
Pure alcohol – 1 cup
Method To Make Rose Water:
Take fresh rose petals in a glass bowl. Pour four cups of boiling water on it and cover with a lid. Wait until water has cooled off. Now strain it and pour water in a glass bottle. Rose water is ready.
Ingredients For Toner:
Rose water – 300 ml
Apple cider vinegar – 50 ml
Rose essential oil – 2 drops ( optional )
Method For Toner:
Mix homemade rose water and apple cider vinegar. Adding few drops of rose essential oil is optional. Now pour this liquid in a glass jar. Store in a cool and dry place, or refrigerate, for 3 days. Then pour this liquid in a sterilized glass bottle. Rose water toner is ready to use. For sterilizing glass bottle, just pour boiling water in it and drain the water. Bottle is sterilized and ready to be filled. Alternately, if you do not want to make rose water at home you can buy it from the market.
Use this toner to tone your face and neck everyday after cleansing and before moisturizing. Repeat this three times a day for clean, healthy and glowing skin. Use the toner within 7 to 10 days of storing it in a glass bottle. Keeping it in a refrigerator is advised in summer as applying cool toner to your skin will soothe it. Cleanse your face after you come back home from outside, it will clear dull skin due to pollution.
