Snacks are needed to fulfill our small hunger but when we cook snacks for our family we have to remind that it should be healthy. We may not use so much of oil or spices in our foods as it should be harmful for us. Less spicy snacks are healthy snacks for you as it keeps you fit and provides you lots of energy. But also remember that if your snacks is not delicious and tasty, it should not appreciated by all. Today we will cook healthy chicken and vegetable sausage rolls for our snacks which will keeps you full for long time and also keeps you healthy.
Chicken sausage is one of the best sources of protein which is important for body building. Veggies are great source of vitamins and minerals for your body. It also supplies you roughage which prevents constipation problem. Flour is used to make the rolls which are a superb source of carbohydrate. Although it is a snack but it works as a complete dish and keeps you healthy for ever.
Chicken And Vegetable Sausage Rolls:
Ingredients:
Chicken 150 gm (boneless), Carrots, Cabbage, French beans, Broccoli 200 gm (chopped), Onion paste 2 table spoon, Garlic paste ½ table spoon, Ginger paste 1 tea spoon, Lemon juice 2 tea spoon, Oregano Âĵ tea spoon, Black pepper powder 1 tea spoon, Flour 2 cup, Olive oil 3 table spoon, salt to taste, Sugar 1 tea spoon.
Method:
First chop the chicken in to small pieces and clean the chicken with water and strain the water completely. Now take it in a bowl and add lemon juice, black pepper powder and ½ tea spoon of salt in it. Mix them well and marinate the chicken for 1 hour. Now take 2 cups of flour in another bowl and add a pinch of salt in it. Add adequate amount of water and knead it to make dough. Cover up the dough with a moist cloth for at least 2 hours.
Wash the vegetable in water and pressure cook all the vegetables until it goes soft. Strain the vegetable stock aside and separate the veggies. Now take a non stick pan and heat olive oil in it. Now add onion paste, garlic paste and ginger paste in it. Add tomato puree. Stir it until the oil gets separated from the spice. Now add the marinated chicken in it and stir it to mix with the spices. Add 1 cup of vegetable stock and cover up with a lid for 10 minutes. Now add the boiled vegetables, salt and sugar to taste. Cook it for another five minutes and add oregano. Remove it from flame and cover it with a lid to preserve the flavor of oregano. Your stuffing is ready, set it aside too cool.
Now take the dough, make small balls and roll it out in thin round shape with the help of a rolling pin. Now heat a little olive oil in a non stick pan and fry each round bread in it. Stuff it with the chicken and vegetable mix. Then roll it up by folding two sides. Repeat the same process with rest of the dough and make more rolls. Your healthy and delicious chicken and vegetable sausage rolls is ready to serve in snacks.

Those who are vegetarian they can substitute the chicken with mushroom or cottage cheese. It also tastes nice and supplies essential nutrients to you.
