Do your kids does not like green beans? There are so many kids who do not like the taste of the green apples. But all of us know that beans are very much good for our body. It is full with so much of nutrients like important vitamins and minerals that can do a miracle with our health. So, why do not you try a tasty salad with green beans? It is so yummy that your kids must like it. This delicious and nutritious dish makes your child healthy from inside. We have used simple ingredients in this preparation which are easily available in market. We have used dry fruits in it which are extremely healthy for your kids. Dates are good for your system and prevent constipation.
Green Bean Salad:
Green Beans 250 gm, Cashew nuts 25 gms, Raisins 25 gms, dates 50 gms, Fresh cream 4 table spoon, Castor sugar 2 table spoon, Pistachio 2-3, Mint leaves 6-7.
First take the green beans and clean with water. Now finely chop it with a sharp knife and put it in a bowl. Now take a deep thick bottomed pan and pour 2 cups of water in it. Add a pinch of salt, pour the chopped beans and boil it until it goes soft. Keep it under running cold water to retain the green color after boiling. Now take a bowl of Luke warm water and soak cashew nuts and Pistachios in it for half an hour. Also chop the nuts and pistachios finely. Do not mix them, as the pistachios are intended for garnishing. Now take the dates and remove the seeds from it. Also make slices with the dates. Now take a bowl and pour the fresh cream in it.
Add castor sugar, chopped cashew nuts and raisins in it. Also add the pieces of dates. Mix it well to prepare the dressing. Chop the mint leaves and add in it. Keep 2-3 mint leaves aside for garnishing. Now add the chopped beans in it and mix them gently so that the boiled beans does not break. Now take a decorative salad bowl and pour the whole mixture in it. Sprinkle roasted sesame seeds on the top evenly. Garnish it with chopped pistachios and 2-3 mint leaves on top. Your yummy and nutritious Green Beans salad is ready to serve.
