Here Are 6 Steps To Make A Peppermint Eucalyptus Soap
The first step involves knowing and segregating the ingredients which will be required to make the peppermint eucalyptus soap. The proportion or the ratio in which every ingredient needs to be taken has been mentioned. You will need twenty percent of olive oil and the soya bean oil each. Along with this you will need twenty five percent of coconut oil.
Along with the mentioned oils, you will need butter (about fifteen percent), tallow (about fourteen percent), castor oil (about five percent) and stearic acid (about one percent). Along with these you will also require peppermint essential oil, eucalyptus essential oil, dark clay and blue iron oxide. These are the primary ingredients which you will need to make the soap.
In this step, you will have to take olive oil, soya bean oil, coconut oil, butter, tallow, castor oil, stearic acid in a container and mix all of these together. Make sure all these have been mixed well together before proceeding.
Once the mixture mixed earlier, settles down, you will add the essential oils, which include, peppermint essential oil, eucalyptus essential oil, dark clay and a small amount of blue iron oxide to the mixture. You need to mix this very well as there are chances of lumps being present or formed due to the presence of clay. So, make sure you mix it so well that there is no lumps formation.
Now, you will have to pour the soap mix into the required moulds. You will have to fill the moulds with the soap mix. Make sure that you do not fill the moulds till the brim. Fill the moulds half with the mixture.
After filling your moulds will the soap mix, add blue iron oxide (which had been kept aside) to the soap mix. Now mix these (soap mix and blue iron oxide) inside the mould well.
Now you will have to leave the soap to dry off completely and settle down. This may take about half a day to an entire day. Do not hurry up in this process. Once the soap has settled you shall take it out from the mould. If you want you can cut the soap in smaller or thinner pieces or slices. This will make the soap ready to use.
