Simple sugar scrub
You can make a very simple sugar scrub by using sugar and oil. You will need about 1 cup of granulated sugar, 1 cup of olive oil and a few drops of your favorite essential oil. Mix all 3 together and store in a glass jar. You can also use any other oil such as coconut oil or sesame oil instead of olive oil. For usage, gently rub the scrub on your hands and feet and let it sit for a few minutes. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
Honey oatmeal sugar scrub
You will need about 1 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons oats, 2 teaspoons honey and 4 teaspoons baby oil for this sugar scrub. Mix all the ingredients together and store in a glass jar. If you want, you may add a few drops of your favorite essential oil.
Cucumber sugar scrub
The ingredients needed for this scrub are a small cucumber, fresh mint leaves, 1 cup granulated sugar and 4 tablespoons of olive oil or coconut oil. First, grind the cucumber and mint leaves in a food processor and make a puree. Mix the puree, oil and sugar in a bowl. You may have to adjust the quantity of sugar, depending upon the consistency of the scrub. Store the scrub in a glass jar and place it in the refrigerator.
Banana sugar scrub
Are you planning to throw away that overripe banana? Think again. You can make a sugar scrub using that banana. Just mash the banana using a spoon and mix some sugar with it. You may have to adjust the quantity of sugar based on the size of the banana. Now apply the sugar scrub on your hands and feet and rinse with warm water.

You will need 1 cup of granulated sugar, half cup olive oil, 2 tablespoons honey, half teaspoon vitamin E oil and 15 drops of lemon essential oil. Mix all the ingredients together and store in a glass jar. Apply on hands and feet gently and rinse with warm water.
Vanilla lavender sugar scrub
This can be used as a facial scrub to remove dead skin cells. You will need 1 cup of granulated sugar, half cup almond oil, half teaspoon vitamin E oil, half teaspoon vanilla extract and 15 drops of lavender essential oil. Mix all the ingredients together and store in an airtight jar. For using, gently scrub on the face and rinse off with warm water.
