There are several skin problems such as acne, blemishes, rashes, etc. that plague our skin. So, we end up trying different soaps by different brands hoping we get a solution to our skin troubles. But, the problem may lie with these soaps themselves as they might be using harsh chemicals that may aggravate the problem. So, it is better to use natural products to enhance our skin health and make it glow. These lavender soaps are very easy to make and do not harm our skin in any way.
Here Is The Homemade Lavender Soap Recipe:
Benefits Of Lavender:
Lavender has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that benefit our skin. The pleasant smell of lavender also calms our mind and provides relief from stress.
Things You Need:
You will need a soap base such as goats milk soap base or glycerin soap base. You can use whichever suits you. Also, take some organic lavender flowers and lavender oil. You may use either dried or fresh lavender flowers. You will also be needing a soap mold for molding the soap.
Steps To Follow:
Take the lavender flowers in a little steaming water and let it sit for 10 minutes in order to extract the flavors. Do not add too much water otherwise the infusion will get diluted. Now, melt the soap base using a stove or a microwave. Pour the infusion and lavender oil into the melted soap base and stir well. Now, pour the melted soap base into the molds and let it cool. It might take a minimum of 1 hour for the soap to set. Press the mold to release the soap. That’s it your own homemade lavender soap is ready. Alternatively, instead of making an infusion you can also directly add fresh lavender flowers to the melted soap base.
If you want your soap to have some color, you can add a soap colorant while adding the infusion and the lavender oil. You may also add other essential oils such as rosemary oil or lemon oil to the soap base along with lavender essential oil. The pleasing fragrances of these oils will soothe your senses. If you are intending to store the soaps for a long period of time, you may need to use a preservative.
Excellent Gift Material:
These soaps are natural and also make an excellent gift material. If you want to gift a near or dear one with these handmade soaps, just put a wrapper around the soap and tie it with a ribbon and your gift is ready.
