This is a recipe for papaya and honey face mask, that works wonders for your skin, making it supple and glowing. Honey nourishes the skin making it smooth and it has anti fungal properties that helps to ward off infections and keep your skin problem free.
DIY Homemade Papaya Face Mask:
Papaya pulp – 1/2 cup
Honey – 1 tsp
Peel the papaya and cut it into small pieces. Blend the pieces in a blender to get pulp. Now add half cup of this pulp to a glass bowl. Add one teaspoon of organic honey to the papaya pulp and mix well.
Clean your face with a mild herbal face wash and pat dry with a soft cloth. Now apply the papaya mask all over the face and neck, avoiding your eyes and lips. Leave for 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your requirement. Then wash off with lukewarm water. After completely rinsing the mask off, wash your face with cold water and pat dry with a soft cloth or towel. Apply this mask twice a week for best results.
Some people have very sensitive skin and might feel a burning sensation on putting the mask on. In that case wash off the mask immediately. It does not irritate all sensitive skin, can happen to some people though. Also prefer to use organic honey. Remember to moisturize you skin with a herbal moisturizer after this treatment.
